Give a first exchange room to develop
Take the greeting as the beginning of the scene. If a companion has just found a misplaced key, ask what it opens or offer a reason to keep looking. A small event gives the next reply more direction than a long list of requests.
Stay with the same situation for a few turns. Then adjust reply length or another setting and see whether the change suits the way you want to write.
Notice the controls you actually use
For chat, pay attention to whether a reply follows your action and leaves you a decision. For an image, check the character and scene against what you asked for. These are different tasks, so evaluate them separately.
Our models, membership allowances and credit-based actions are not interchangeable. Before you pay, identify the particular feature you expect to use and check its conditions rather than treating one subscription as unlimited access to everything.
